I took this to my local auto zone and they tested it with a digital ammeter. The cords are intact although 2 clamps a tad rusted.

It did test OK - but not great as the voltage s were right at or a bit less than 6 and 12 volt settings. Display is clear and easy to read. Real nice shape - paint is almost all intact very few dings. Made in minneapolis, MN, by miles products.

There are 4 metal feet on the bottom. Hello - local estate sale find a 6 v and 12 battery charger. 5 inches wide by 9 in height about 6 depth.

I guess that after years this is not unexpected. A fairly heavy item at 8 pounds. I am guessing a 1950s item. The carry handle is handy.
